Yay! Our first tutorial!
We are so excited to get this blog up and running and wanted to start with a fun original idea that is SUPER simple!
Check out these Cutesy Little Clipboards!
Here are a few examples of different ways to decorate them!
What you will need:
12x12 Scrapbooking paper
Variety of Yarn
Variety of Ribbon
Scissors
Craft Spray On Glue
Sponge
Permanent Ink Pad
Paper Cutter
Clipboard
Hopefully you will have most of this at home already!
Step 1:
Cut Scrapbooking paper to size
Step 2:
Spray back of paper with glue and center on the front of the clipboard. After placing the paper down, you will want to wipe it down from the center out to make sure there are no air bubbles.
Step 3:
Press sponge in ink and gently dab the edges of the clipboard overlapping on to the paper until you have created the desired look.
Step 4:
Cut Ribbon and Yarn. Roughly around 5 inches long. You can make this as full as you want!
Step 5:
Tie yarn in sets of at least two and ribbon individually (depending on the thickness of the ribbon) until the entire bar of the clip has been covered.
Step 6:
Fluff it up a little, add your notes (or a cute little doily) and enjoy!!!
This is a cute way to jazz up a boring clipboard. I use mine to write out what my kids and I are going to do for the day- my daughter users hers to draw on...and you could add magnets to the back to cutesy up your fridge!
DARLING! Love you girls. I will for sure be following up with your fab ideas. HOORAY for new cuteness! xoxo
